Monterrey, a poem
- Poem
- August 5, 2023
August sun casts its unforgiving glare,
A gentle breeze, her touches I wear.
Beneath Monterrey’s vibrant hue,
A subtle presence, her essence true.
Cobblestone street echos the footsteps pair,
An uncharted melody, penetrating the air.
Gracias a la vida, the sun softly slips,
We dance in the shadow, a silent eclipse.
08/05/2023 - Written on my flight from Monterrey to Mexico City.
